The short version
- The address check runs in your browser. We do not save the address you type unless you send a request.
- When you send a request, we share it with one licensed septic professional who serves your area, so they can call or text you about it.
- We do not sell your information to data brokers.
- To stop contact, reply STOP to any text, or use the opt-out form below.
What we collect
- Requests: property address, city, ZIP, county, whether you own it, your answers about the system and timeline, your name, mobile number and email, and the address-check facts shown to you (plan area, septic or sewer, lot size, year built, grant estimate).
- Consent record: the exact consent text you agreed to, its version, and the time.
- Technical data: a one-way salted hash of your IP address (not the address itself), browser type and time, to stop spam and record consent.
Who sees it
The one septic professional we route your request to, and our own staff. Service providers that host the site and database (Cloudflare) process it for us. To place your address on the map, your browser and our server send the typed address to the US Census geocoder and, if needed, to the ArcGIS World geocoder; the map lookups go to FDEP, the Florida Department of Health, the Florida Department of Revenue, Brevard County and Indian River County map services.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for up to two years, consent records for five years, then deleted.
Analytics
When enabled, we use Google Analytics to count visits and which pages and tools are used. Form contents are never sent to analytics.
